I'm trying to find someone who still sells these straps or know of the manufacturer here in Oz. I love these straps and have had them since the early '80s, I need another pair. The common cam-lock types you see everywhere have nothing on these. So if you know anyone who's got them please give me an hoy. Ta

I recon I may have a couple of sets of brand new ones in my shed in a box of old parts somewhere. I thought they were pretty useless. Each to his own I guess. If I can dig them out I will let you know. I think they were cheap Marlin brand so the strap material is probably crap but that would be fixable if you were keen enough.

I prefer the cam grip buckle type.....

There were two types, same buckle but different straps, one was real thin and ****ty the other as shown in pic was twice as thick, weave gets loose after a few years and the thin one frays on the edges. I had 4 sets of these, I helped my sister move one day and left 3 sets on the sidewalk next to the trailer, went back for them and gooooone. Been looking for replacements ever since. Serves me right for being absent minded. I use 'em for everything. Lurv 'em.

Bugger, I had 400 pair of these things back in the late 80's, early 90's. They were all pink and the pair I had lasted over 20 years. Only chucked them when the rusted solid.
Sold the lot with the business, wish I had of kept them after reading this stuff.

I've got a set of these and are still my main straps that I use, they have been great, but in reality are very old and I think need to replace soon. Great because the straps have just enough stretch, are very strong and the buckles have a very reliable locking action.

I've got the lockable ones too, but only use when I need security as they are a bit painful to use.
