Hi All,

Just a reminder that Windsurfing WA's official calendar of events continues this coming weekend. On Sunday the 10th of October the “Have a Go” bandwagon will be on the Northern side of the River at Pelican Point opposite UWA at Crawley. Cuising South along Hackett Drive you’ll see Pelican Point Windsports set up with their trailer at the Qantas Boat Landing just after you pass the Royal Perth Yacht Club. The free sessions will be offered from 10am to 1pm in this very popular place for learning. Ian is running the show and is available on 9386 1830.

All are welcome and if you are already a windsurfing enthusiast and have some kids or friends who would like to get into the sport we love – get them along to one of these days.

If you are a total beginner and are tempted, but think it's too hard, be aware that windsurfing gear has come a very long way in the last few years with boards and rigs that are super easy to learn on. With quality instructors on hand and some beautiful spring weather upon us – The Fremantle Doctor will be calling soon so there’s no better time to discover the fantastic, exciting (and safe) sport that Windsurfing is….

We hope to see you all at one of the sessions and don’t forget to encourage your family and friends along and make it a great day out for all.

On behalf of the Committee - To all those who “Have a Go” - Enjoy…

Thanks to Second Wind Sailboards, Go Windsurfing, and Pelican Point Windsports for once again, supporting Windsurfing in W.A. – Much Appreciated.

We are a little short on helpers for the Have a Go Day on Sunday.

So if you have some time free between 9.00 and 1.00 and want to help some new people experience windurfing, come on down.

Starts at 10, but some help setting up is always good.

Thanks,

Ian Grose
