Juzz, agree with nebbian, re don’t use the sail to control, its foot control from there on in. First time I got into both straps, I just cranked up in speed, felt great. However when I tried the old sail bit for control, all I did was close the gap, or sheet in and just went faster

. In the end I had to drop my body into water to slow down and stop

Used the “go flat out, use body in water to stop technique”, (much to my wife's amusement who was watching most of session

) for rest of day. And yes was one of the best sessions I ever had, and was only last November
