Hi guys, does anybody in Perth have one of these fins that they dont kneed anymore? Its from a Tyronsea board
Young lady at work elected to purchase some "good gear" to learn on from the local rag.
Unfortunately she damaged the fin in first session
Fin size is as is on a sheet of A4 paper.

Looks just like a US Box fin to me, albeit with the pin missing.

I've seen el-cheapo plastic US box fins advertised (in shops) for about $40 that would probably do the job. Whether they have any in stock is another matter...

Hey minas, yep that's a standard US box, think I may have an old one in the shed.
Are you coming down soon, other wise I'll try and remember to bring it to the presentation.

It can be fixed of course, just need to drill another hole as close to the old one as possible, and still have some strength, fit new stainless or brass pin and reshape the rear so it can slide in the slot.

Wow ... I USED to have one of those. Came (and went) with my Tyronsea 295. I'm still using the mast base though!!! (and have only had to replace the universal once .... don't make 'em like the used ta)

Must have thrown those old plastic fins out in one of my infrequent clean ups. However I've an old fibreglass one that should do the job.
