Hi all, where/how could I get myself a vaccum bag? Or especially a pump. I have a idea of what material I need for the bag, valve etc... the pump would be an old fridge pump but what does it look like?
Thanks

Or if I could borrow someone's in exchange of some beers !

Have a few of them Fridge kompressors standing around. they work greate as vacuum pump. Cut all the copper pipes who are connectet to the cooling system of, let the gas out in to the athmosphere to get more damage to the ozone layer(global warming = stronger wind) and put a power cord on it. just throw the thermostart out and bypass the contacts.
You can also use a kitepump or a vacuum cleaner.
good luck.

Sorry, backloop disagree with vacuum cleaner, maybe if you can get a perfect seal, just pull it down, seal it up and switch off. But if the seal isn't perfect, the boards probably stuffed.
If you leave the vacuum cleaner running it will burn out for sure. Only way I can see is to use a one way valve and vacuum resevoir and switch it in and out when pressure changes. But still don't ude your wife's brand new favourite!! get an old one from a swap meet or something, cause it could still burn out. They need high airflow to keep cool.
