Where are the best and closest to the action places to stay in Geralton Not back packers though, something a little more private and upmarket.
Also how busy is there in the first week of Dec.

Thanks in advance.

QD, its right at the edge of holiday season so you will need to get in quick. If Gero is full, Dongara just South of there is another option. Some good places between there Geraldton and Corro's
Hopefully the crew up there will help you out. If not give the Geraldton Tourist Bureau a call or go on line.
There are a couple of the Queensland crew up there, who came over last Summer for the Summer and have just "forgot" which way home is and staying for another Summer.

We stay at the Sunset beach caravan park, they have several grades of onsite vans and cabins.
The wave at the caravan park, when it works, is a better down the line wave than corros.
It's about 20ks from corros.
The park at drumonds is closer but more expensive.
