Well, I thought I might add that I'll actually be arriving in Perth on the 15th October for the Rugby World Cup (England v S.Africa), then flying onto Adelaide on the 30th. As, you can probably guess, if it's windy I'd love to get a windsurf in, (my kit doesn't arrive till the end of Nov - when I fly back from Sydney to Perth after the final). Does anyone know where I can hire kit on the beach in the Perth area? Or do you have to hire from a shop in town and have a car to drive to a beach. Also, can anyone recommend a beach in the area for someone wanting to learn to sail waves?

If anyone knows someone who wants to rent a room / flat / apartment out for 5-6 weeks from the end of Nov/early December till mid January that would be cool.

Also, has anyone stayed at the Lancelin Lodge? Can you recommend it?
