gotta agree windy, I too day dream about sailing all the time, but never while I am actually asleep. Perhaps reading a windsurf mag before going to sleep will help? Hasnt helped me thou

i would like to add that in the years that i was out of the sport i dreamt about widsurfing heaps. now that i am back into it, only slightly less. (sometimes even naked swedish girls appear on the beach) (...is this normal?)

My Missus dosn't like me when I sail in my sleep.

I still manage to have prangs

and as we've got a water bed she dosn't apreciate the splash when it happens.

Why are my dreams so much like my reality?

I dream all the time, i think some people just have an over-active imagination, even when they are sleeping. I heard that everyone dreams when they sleep but the difference is remembering the dream or not when u wake up, not sure if thats true or not.

I always have dreams about windsurfing, skateboarding or just general weird dreams.

Like last night i was enrolled in the army and noone knew that i had and when i tried to call people to tell them i had, my mobile would always be out of range. I was then put in a bus and we were going through a jungle when an enemy entered and some guy at the back of the bus fired at his head but missed, the enemy then said, aslong as you dont shoot me you can keep going. Then suddenly im on a skateboard doing any move i want getting chased by two fat guys around the world where i would get a plane somewhere then at the airport skate around, the city skate around then get another plane.

A few nights before that i was on a massive olden day ship that had wheels.

Just think of windsurfing before you sleep, like imagine windsurfing then as you fall asleep you usually end up in that situation, well thats what i notice anyways.

My dreams seem to be mostly about not being able to go windsurfing due to all sorts of crap getting in the way - including lack of wind. Or maybe that's the real life bit?

About the best windsurf dream I ever had was; similarly to kitesurfing, beach starting with feet in the starps and planing instantly... wait, I lived it!! Geeze in must have not sailed in a wind that strong for a while hahaha!

I had a nighmare once that I went through a whole winter without a sail and the only windy days happened when I was stuck in the office.

Hang on....................
