I understand a Wally sail is used on a Windsurfer One Design. I would like to know its area and is it non batten. My interest in this sail - during the last 10 years I have been developing multihulls which are powered by sailboards sails and need a non-batten 6sqm sail to mate with my 6 sqm Wayler stormsail on my biplane-rig 6800mmloa catamaran. Also I require a 7sqm and 9sqm RAF(not camber-induced) sails. Info on my multihull craft is published on the web in the Yacht Research Homepage under Project Windrigger.

i have an old tri-hull that runs on a wally rig, well atleast i think its a wally rig[}:)] one of the quickest things around, as it planes just like a windsurfer..if your a good enough sailor you can keep it dead flat and have both side hulls out of the water, then it gets scary!...at one stage we were thinking about puttin on a jib and trying out some trap wires

The Yacht Research Homepage web address is http://uk.geocities.com/[email protected]/yachts/index.htm
and a photo of Wayler sail is on page 18 of the Windrigger Project.
