Daystar (generic, slippery, banana shape one design clone)
Bombora Tri-fin (yay - my first short board)
Bombora Astrotoy (yuck - totally unmanoeuvrable)
Wally board (to teach my friends)
Bombora 295 (waaay too big for me)
Tabou X-Rocket 105 (my 21st century comeback - the board I had been looking for all those years)

Windsurfer one design (it felt 45 kilos . I weighed 45 kilos)
Bombora custom proto slalom (cool bombora graphics)
Wind action slalom pro 15+ (small but fast)
Strapper 18inch speed (smaller but faster)

gave it away for 15 years...

Bombora 284 plastic fantastic ( cost me 6 beers!)
Starboard carve 80 (my high wind bump and jump)
Mistral Screamer 105 (the workhorse)

JP FSW 84l is an awesome board... Mine is an 05, and is definately the first board I reach for!!!

Matchbox, we had a wet paper bag!

Windsurfing was hard, we couldn't afford to buy anything so we had to improvise with old sheets from vinnys for sails, stormwater pipe masts, pool noodle booms and milk cartons stuck together for a board(i shaped my own).

We used to stand on the bin lid which we lived in and pretend until the neighbours in our swamp got jealous. We could make really cool wind noises!!

We had to make do with a surveyors peg stuck up our a**e (for a mast) while holding a stolen (and used) tissue between our fingers (for a sail), all the while standing on a broken esky lid looxury.

I only started a couple of seasons ago. I timed it really well and started at Easter......major frustration.

You lucky, lucky, lucky, ba*tards, when I were a lad, father used to take us windsurfing on't septic tank, I had a paving slab for a board and another one for a sail, ad to carry it from home 15 miles away in't middle of night, in't snow, barefoot. If we were looky, father would beat us to sleep.
