Hello all,

about 5 weeks ago a couple of friends talked me into starting windsurfing YAY !!!
now after a few goes on the weekends im in both foot straps and in the harness and i have just brought my self a big sail.

I have been really moody the last few days though BECAUSE THERE is no WIND LOL .

Now i see what all the rave is about windsurfing but it is so much.

What is a good spot around the world to go on holiday and windsurf ?

Hi there Spybot,
We expect the wind to start dropping this time of year, but we can sometimes get great seabreeze's right up until April. Then it is the long wait until the winter storms to liven things up.
In the mean time, we run windsurfing trips to Fiji, which gets SE trade winds all winter. Our centre there is open from May to Oct.

... or you could get a really BIG sail. I was out last night at Leighton on a 9.3 at sunset... beautiful. And this afternoon I may do the same, but even bigger. With the wind pretty much due west I'll probably rig up an 11.0 and head out on a Formula board from Leighton and head up to Swanbourne, or even Scarborough if my leg (and the wind) hold out....

.... or maybe it's just better to go with Simon to Vanuattu.

Welcome to the Obsession.
