Great to hear you scored some waves, unfortunately down in Mandurah it was the wrong wind direction for wave sailing but we did get a few brave souls battle the elements.

But Avi Bay turned it on for some Fanging speed runs along the reef line. Apart from a small lull when yours truely put the mockers on the breeze, it went off (Sorry Mike & Mike)

May not have been wave sailing but it certainly got the blood pumping and the spinchter clenching on some of the runs.

Roll on the next blow

Applecroos wasn't to bad, mike (KAOS69) nearly pulled off a backflip, but drag racing the cars was pretty fun. Where is Bircher point????

ended up at applecross it was pretty hairy at times
my mast base came off my board while sailing dont ask me how luckily i just got going and i wasnt hooked in or in the straps very very very bumpy it was wieghing at 65kgs and using a 5.2 sail and a skinny 95L F2 i had trouble keeping the board on the water but that added to the fun if only it was flat water

Yeah, I was at applecross too, Mega Windy, Mega Mega Choppy.
Had some good jumps and had some pretty horror crashes too
Totally overpowered with 5.2m, kept me on my toes(literally at times)
So went in to give her a bit more downhaul and snap the rope didn't IBut managed to improvise and got back out there for more jumps and crashes
No wind for 4 weeks and then it blows up like this. Strongest wind I've ever been out inFarnawesome.
Looks like it'll be gone as quick as it came

Dutchies - some fairly chunky sets coming through and cross off early morning. Though Birhcer sounded much better - I spent far too much time swimming and mistiming turns !

Had to get to work by 10am how was it later on ?
