Please Share your windsurfing experiences of Sunday, after this long period of no wind

For me it was out with my fastest slalom board, finding the flatest part of the peel estuary, and scaring myself schitless

Anyone else out there have fun

How good was it, Hardie??!!!!!!

For me it was first real chance to get my new (secondhand) Naish 8'9" going on Leschenault inlet, first with 5.2 then with 4.7m. Wooo-Hooo!!!!

Have got a half day off tomorrow and still some wind hanging around in the morning. Where's a good launch for S/E on the Peel Estuary?

Getting gone!!!

Kecksy Baby,

Get in touch and we'll sail together, have am off

If you can't, then on SSE, north of cut at East Port Canals launch site, off estuary rd, or another good spot would be at Navara Boat Ramp.

YO HARDIE

MYSELF AND THE MIGHTY GREENROOM WENT FOR A BLAST AT APPLECROSS THIS ARVO. AWESOME. GREENIES FIRST SAIL IN 6 WEEKS, HE WAS GOING STOOPID.
I WENT OUT WITH 7.0 V8 AND I TOO SCHIT MYSELF. VERY, VERY, VERY FAST.
I GAVE GREENIE A GO ON MY RIG. MAN THAT WAS FUNNY, 60 KGS SOAKING WET
ON 103 LTR BOARD WITH 7M SAIL. I THINK N.A.S.A. REQUIRE PERMITS FOR CRAFT GOING THAT FAST, A LITTLE OVERPOWERED METHINKS.
OH YEAH, I NAILED MY FIRST GYBE TODAY - F#!&ING STOKED. I HAVE THE HONOURABLE GREENROOM AS MY WITNESS, HE GOT SO EXCITED THAT HE GOT CATAPULTED, ALSO VERY FUNNY.
GREAT TO HEAR YOU HAPPY AGAIN MR HARDMAN

RESPECT

CLIFFO

P.S WHEN DO YOU WANT YOUR VIDS BACK
P.P.S. GREENIES NEVER GIVING YOUR BOARD BACK

CLIFFO

Congrats on First Gybe You won't look back now, however it is an extremely technical manouvre and after 20yrs I'm still trying to perfect it.

Vids? I Do want them back eventually but no great hurry, that you would have to come down sth for.

Stoked you and Greenie had a ball at applecross

Tell greenie he can buy the board off me if he reely luvs it $100.00 , or he can give it back when he's gonna get something better

Is it reely possible to sustain life without windsurfing for 6 weeks................ no not possible, you guys are having me on.........., I go mental when I can't sail for six days..............6 weeks and I'd need a frontal lobotomy..... Although some people would say I need a frontal, transverse, and dorsal lobotomy this very moment

Well I went down to Melville as well. I can hardly move my arms and legs. I forgot how many muscles you use while windsurfing. But it was good to be back out and getting wet.

Hey greenroom and and cliffo what time where you down there?

We went in at Falcon hit the water between 0830 and 1030.

Turn down the street next Coblers tavern and head to the end carpark,

There is a nice little grassed park there to rigg up on and a nice load of trees on the shore line to discourage the teabag crew.

The Northerly to NE comes straight over Novara, then hits the water for about 1.5kms to pick up speed again.

We just go straight out, the chop about 1km from shore was about shin height, so not to much damage from that, The breeze was sweet and consistant. It was a really good fang season.

Matt from Avalon sails showed his skills after we packed up by hammering along about 2km out with a 6.2m sail in 25-30+ central Mandurah wind speeds.

The arvo when it went NNW Avi Bay was the spot running inside the reef

Looks like another good weekend coming up for it.

Elmo Back off a BIT Mate

Remember or have you forgotten our agreement, let me spell it out for you again: "I'm the King Idiot on the forum, I crack all the crap jokes, and give away all the secret spots"

Respeck your elders mate, or no more holding your hand when it gets over 15kts, and you come running to Daddy as say "Hardie, Hardie I'm scared it's too windy.....", and I put my arm around you and say "now, now sweet Elmo there's no such thing as too windy..."

Hardie,

Fair call, lotsa respect for my more senior sailors.

Amazing that you could hear my whining last night over the heater in your car.

If it wasn't for your enthusiam and continually hassleing me to go out in the 15+ conditions I'd be wearing my dress and buying a kite.

Now if only I can get over my fear of knee high waves.

Allways respectfull to my sailing tutor

The Master of the "Splat Jibe"
