Has anyone any good ideas about where to look for work as a windsurf instructor on the east coast?

Hamilton Island perhaps? A mate went there on holiday and learnt to windsurf. Don't know if the conditions are any good though.

A few years back I went to Club Med Linderman Island, They had instructors and pretty good gear. The instructors were useless. One went for a sail at the same time i did, his outhaul broke, he just sat on the board waiting for the rescue craft.
A couple of more runs past him and I got sick of him just sitting there, so i got him to hold the board i was riding and i fixed his outhaul in the water so he could sail back to shore. When i finished my sail he came and brought me a beer and said he didn't know how to fix it in the water and was happy i helped him as there was no one to come and rescue him. So if you sail well it would be a great idea to try the resorts on the east coast.

Of the topic but you will be suprised at how many windsurf instructors working at centers all around the world are not as good a sailor as you would expect from them to be.
