Are there any regulars who sail Green Island?
For someone who doesn't know the spot is it easy to find the sailing area?
Is the area near the ferry drop off?
Is it wise to sail pat malone there?

sailed there on sat and sunday in total about 12 hours on a 5 metre sail well powered up.Sometmes over powered

sailed all round the the island when the tides were right. port and starboard jumping. flatwater speed stuff and big ocean swell downwinders out in the blue.

sailing area is easy to find as long as the tides are high enough.

pat malone is fine just boring. but remember it is an island so if you break your stuff its a long swim to cooktown.

Troppo you mongrel. It is pissing down here on the Goldie and gusting about 7 knots. The good news is that by gear is really REALLY dry. The mountain bike even got out of the shed on Sunday. It has seen more water than my windsurfing gear lately.

yep...It gets the better wind than anywhere on the east coast and a return airfare is a quarter the price of one to MAUI.

Tell me why i'm going again???
