Hi All
I am working in london and currently saving my pennies to visit Australia for 1 month in October (Yipee!) The down side is that it's really only practical for me to visit the East coast this time. I know the best windsurfing is in West Oz but surely there must be somewhere half way decent on the East coast.
Can any of you make any suggestions of somewhere decent for a week or so for windsurfing on the east coast? Is October a good month to visit?

Cheers to you all from a cloudy but warm (21C) London!

For Flat water Blasting in October (Windy Month) but pretty cold, Sandy Point in Victoria is hard to beat, current site of world speed record. West Australians are going over to try and break the Australian speed record.

Oct/Nov is good in Newcastle and central coast NSW, bring sails from 5.8 to 4.2 and you will get plenty of sailing.

Yes! Oct - Nov very good just about right up all the east coast except for northern queensland. Southern queensland and downward is great that time of year.
