Our great sport has taken a massive hit......Ebay no longer has Windsurfing as a sub category (under surfing), as it has for the last few years!!!

Having a quick browse (as I do), and had to look through 'Surfing-other', and here was a 'bundled' mixture of windsurfing, kitesurfing (kiter fashion) and surfskis!

On the flip side, if I now want to look at what's for sale, seabreeze buy'n'sell has moved even further into the lead!

There's nothing to tempt me to browse Ebay anymore....

Yeah that was doing my head in.. though when I came to terms with the fact our section is gone, I noticed that they've actually moved the "windsurfing boards" to their own sub-category under surfboards. Everything else you need to get going is under miscellaneous cr@p... have fun searching amongst that lot!

I wonder what genius came up with that idea? ....idiots!

They probably thought they were simplifying things!

It must've looked like there were too many subcategories - surfing, standup paddle surfing, windsurfing, kitesurfing etc...and it's all the same, isn't it???

If you want to sell really old stuff (strangely) you can usually get plenty of money for it on eBay.

For buyers (and sellers too), I always recommend first try gumtree.com.au and craigslist.

Free, less gimmicky, no bidding. If fails, then go eBay.

You can search in windsurfer and you get about 100 stink boat ads as well....

Agreed Davmen, but after purchasing a BRAND-NEW Severne NCX 5.5, (never been rigged) for $300 on Ebay.....I became quite partial to the site.

In saying that, I've never had a bad purchase there, or here for that matter.....so, all's good!

Everyone email eBay?

I certainly will.

So you don't have to go thru their maze of "help" pages, use
