Team America them song, or some nice poetry suits me.
Not that I'm a fan of America, but the chorus is just beyond eloquent.

For me I can't go past "The Mark of Cain" to get the heart racing.

Aussie hard rockers from Adelaide...the track 'Pointman' does it for me everytime (No surprise as that's where I got the Seabreeze handle!).

The line "....alone, is the only way to be!!" (cue massive rifferama) seems to sum up the whole solo aspect of windsurfing.

Check it out.

For some unknown reason, nearly everytime.....

It's a Beautiful Day - U2, great for 'light-wind' days, lazy-laying back in the harness, just planing.

(I'm obviously not a 'hardcore' windsurfer?!?)

I read somewhere that there's a song called "Windsurfer" on an 80s Roy Orbison album...never heard it, though.

Also...
Slayer- Live Undead EP
Suicidal Tendencies' '80s stuff
Metallica- Kill 'em All
Radio Birdman
STOOOOOOOOOOGES!!!!!!
Ramones

...also, is there a Spongebob Squarepants album? That would definitely hit the spot...

Bush - "Everything Zen" always puts me in a windsurfing mood, mainly cos the first time I heard it was on the RIP vid.

Has anybody tried taking an ipod etc out on the water? Makes you feel like your on a windsurfing DVD (yeah right!) Trouble is it just doesn't feel right; you can't feel/hear where the wind is; I imagine you get the same sensation if you wear a helmet.

Ideally you need a really big sound system in an offshore wind and just crank it up; unless you can have a support boat to follow you around within earshot.

That would be the one with your camera crew, make-up artists and hot babes on, no?

I don't need music to get me pumped before a sail

The trees swaying and the white water is enough to give me a woodie

Actually that's quite right! I can't concentrate on anything else on a windsurfing day anyway! Music is for drinking afterwards, or the night before...or the night before the night before...more to try to forget about the fact that you're NOT windsurfing at that particular moment!
