Sponsorships for 2004 up to $1,500 are available for windsurfers aged 13 - 25 yrs via Dept Youth Sport and Recreation.
It's not too difficult to get the sponsorship, you just have to fit the criteria and fill in some paper work, and WWA needs to endorse the application.
To fit the bill you need to:
- live in Country WA (not sure if this includes Safety Bay area)
- have the potential to reach "state level" in Windsurfing (in any discipline - waves, slalom, formula, etc), ie you need to be pretty good already.
If interested you need to get in quick as applictions close at end of February
