After a recent trip to Gnaraloo and getting sick of loading gear on and off the roof of the car, I have decided to construct a windsurfing trailer. Was hoping to make the trailer multipurpose - windsurfing / mtb'ing. I currently have a 4wd ute and the problem is not being able to lock anything.

Any ideas / feedback / images welcome. Post or email me - [email protected]

I am thinking of a trailer with mesh frame over the top to enable it to be locked and then a custom tarp over this to cover it all. Racks inside etc.

Saw these at a caravan and camping show - just buy one of them
EDIT _ Called the Base Station (two models) from jayco - caravan at the front - shed with racks and bunks with vinyl mat floors at the back.

The ultimate trailer - but not cheap

Hey Wayne,

If you do a search there are several threads about trailers. I was looking at doing one as well but ended up going with the van option.

Plenty of guys with trailers and great advice on here. Shouldnt be hard to find the threads.

Good luck,
EB
