good question,

well basically at the end of june WQ made the decission that insurance would no longer be offered to the Windwanderers until red tape was dealt with due to a change with the way WQ operates. windwanderers were not advised of this outcome until we advertised to new members for the new season.

so unfortunately Windwanderers were put on hold.

while all of this was going on and unknown to me (a standing committee member of WQ at the time) WQ assisted a new club, bayside sailboards to become affiliated and at the change of the financial year advised all sailboarders in qld that the only club they could get insurance through was the bayside sailbard club.

so the windwanderers took on the task of becoming incorporated and complying with the demands setout be WQ.

almost 2 weeks ago WindWanderers achieved all of the items outlined by WQ and forwarded all details to WQ and requested affiliation.

as of yet i have had no response.
