Hi BigDawg,
WindWarrior is a dynamic new clothing label by windsurfers for windsurfers. We currently sponsor a number of hot riders including KA86 Luke Johnson in the waves and WA formula racer Matt Stevens to name a few. WindWarrior is always on the look out for new riders to join our Team Rider list and is currently researching a youth incentive program to help get young sailors out on the water and ripping.
We're a little different to most companies, when we host a board meeting members have to bring their own board. A sail before and after the meeting is manditory !
Keep a look out for our name and logo, big things are just around the corner.

I think I could be a role-model clthes wearing windwarrior for you.

I could be the best dressed middle aged windsurfer on the beach, people try to emulate me, youngens look up to me, you could be the biggest brand in town by the end of the Millenia.

I'm ready for my first fitting or anthing off the shelf in the XXL sizes will fit perfectly, could squeeze into an XL

Look I'm giving you profile already

Believe it or not Hardman but you are part of the crew we at WindWarrior are catering to.
Some of the WindWarrior design team are XXL so they tend to 'try out' a few designs before release. As the originals are often in the larger sizes they tend to be the ones made first.
I never seen a 'Brad Pitt - supermodel type' windsurfing, ripping it up at their local break or blasting about on the wide blue h2o, so we at WindWarrior dont cater for them.
At WindWarrior we all sail, we all come in different shapes and sizes, we all leave the beach with ear splitting grins after a great sail.
You sail, you know what I'm talking about.

We'll have some stuff for you to try on 'straight off the shelf' in the coming weeks.

Windwarrior,
Windsurfing WA is currently trying to come up with ways to get youth out on the water.
Maybe you could share some of your ideas.
WWA could always do with some sponsorship to help the youth program also.

I'm a youth and all around me i can see people my age getting more and more interested in windsurfing. Myself, my brother and my mate all windsurf and we also sail. All the other kids down at the yacht club envy us when after sailing on a good, windy day we can go rip out on the water while they are all stuck on the shore looking at us.

Lots of people are saying they would like to start windsurfing, so all this youth stuff must be working.

ALso i was wondering how to get sponsorship. I'm 15 and for the last year have been gettting ready to do wave comps this year. My brother and i are already psycing each other up to do a foward loop, and have been trying them at rotto on the waves and on the chop on the river, with varied levels of success (or faliure, havent managed to do one yet)... But yeah i reckon being sponsored would be awsome, i was also wondering how many people enter the youth division at the lancelin ocean classic in the marathon and waves and also at the wave nationals. Cos i will be doing the 2006 ones.

Windwarrior sounds like a good brand, where can u get it?

Hi guys,
Great to see so much interest in WindWarrior.
Just to answer some of your questions:

Youth Incentive Scheme - WindWarrior is currently researching a scholarship type system with the aim of helping young up and coming windsurfers get to, and compete in more competitions. At present we are still working through the massive amounts of documentation that need to be covered to access and alocate funds for this scheme. Rest assured as soon as it is up and running WindWarrior will let you know what you need to do.

WindWarrior Tours - at present WindWarrior supports a number of annual sailing tours. For 2005 there are 2 planned, one being Geraldton WA, the other Le Morne in Mauritius. At this stage the tours are invite only as they often correspond with planned photo shoots and board meetings. WindWarrior has given great thought to organising group tours, it may prove to be an area we can expand into but at present we are focused on producing super fine threads for Windsurfers.

WindWarrior Gear - design work is almost sewn up in regards to our wicked winter range. Full adverts and catelogue due out soon in all the usual and a few different places.

WindWarrior Contact - any questions or views regarding WindWarrior can be sent to [email protected]
Either that or simply post a question on Seabreaze and we will get in touch with you either via the forum or email/phone.

Hope this helps answer a few questions.

WindWarrior Gear - Soon within reach
