Wow, finally made it to the GC... got my board n 2 sails here but staying with rellies and got no transport for windsurf gear, so I can only rig up in the backyard ...thought about launching in the canal but didn't want to end up appearing on Australia's Funniest Home Videos... cycled down to the beach near the SLSC at Broadbeach; tried the boogie board but went faster sideways than forwards due to the rips... and it's HONKING! Anyone who can get a windsurfer out thru that surf should get a medal, but nobody was out anyway, so there must be better spots...?

Anyone get to the train? Wind was a bit Southerly, wasn't it? What's the best place to go this week, assuming the wind holds? I'm on holiday here; got nothing to do but sit around the backyard looking at my new sail ... Anybody got a van? Wanna go sailing??
