Opinions on best location this weekend, flat water blasting as Sandy Point (Vic) or some waves at point danger (torquay)?

Not an expected reply from me. But I recon go the Sandy Point. If the wind is ballistic, Speed sounds like fun.

The forcast is pretty crazy here in the Illawarra for the next few days as well.

Thursday: Wind:S/SW 35/45 knots increasing to 45/50 knots. Sea:3 to 4 metres rising to 4 to 6 metres or possibly higher.
Friday Outlook: Wind: S/SW 20/30 knots reaching 30/35 knots offshore.
Saturday Outlook: Wind: SW/SE 20/30 knots.

Oh dear I don't think 4.1m will be small enough :D

4.6? ahm... BOM just upgraded their forcast to 45-50 knts. gusts possibly exceeding 55 knts... my smallest sail is 3.5sqm... that might only just be small enough.

With a 5-6 meter sea most beaches should be a whiteout... my bet is on Dolls Point late tomorrow or Friday.

Now add Sunday 30 - 40 knots to that as well.
