Love that zebra wood board, looks like the lamination is bookleafed perfectly.

Very nice,

Craftsmanship, quality + distance to Australia could be a bit on the pricey side.

What are the key design features of the larger Freeride board or are they all custom shapes to order?

I could get away with storing these in the lounge room, wouldn't look out of place with the furniture.

Right, that´s why we tried to get in touch with one of the bigger brands and think about a series production.
But it´s a bit difficult to satisfy them with this new technology. Two of the boards made a world-trip. Started at Lago di Garda/Italy over Switzerland (JP) to Thailand and finally Mauii (Naish/Angulo).... without us. I even got in contact with Paolo Cecchetti (COBRA) to bring it on. Ignoramuses!

When we talk about Wall-e: Single sandwich top and bottom. Top: Basalt, Veneer, Glas. Bottom: Basalt, PVC, Basalt. That´s it!
But you also can choose the design. Starting with the sandwich structure right through to kind of wood. Should it be more stable or light up to super-light? Nearly everything is possible

Beautiful!

Art meets sport.

I'd like to see one in West Australian Jarrah.

I was more thinking of the design parameters (shape design) of the larger freeride, ie bottom end/top end/control/jibe - what's the focus?

I liked the Biological Zebrano, made from the very un-biological Basalt rock..

I'm skeptical about the whole sustainability sales pitch, would be an interesting task to find out the Ecological footprint of exotic wood Vs Carbon fibre....

Carbons made from Petroleum pitch, made by the charitable microbes who got themselves fossilised, whereas trees need viable land, today..

Or maybe I'm just biased as I think a West Australian Jarrah looks better as a living, breathing tree rather than a silly windsurf board.. Carbon fibre also reminds me of the russian military prototypes of the 80's..

Next we'll be making booms out of wood, hahah that will be the day, nobody would be that thick!!

Key features:
- Short and wide compact outline
- pintail for drag reduction, top-end control and jibing
- Full rails in the front and thinner rails in the tail for tight jibing and grip
- Double concave for cutting through the chop
- Domed deck for comfort at speed

The technical drawing is done with SolidWorks(CAD), so all customer wishes can be taken into consideration.

Np, i already know where to get it

@Barn

Most importend thing for me is, board must be tough, light and has to look cooler than the others. I don´t care so much about sustainability. It may help rescuing the world, but not necessarily.
