like your work beswift. if i may add some further tips....

a real windsurfing blog actually has nothing to do with windsurfing. it is in fact a very clever way of testing the gods.

what i would like to read is some taunting of huey and murphy. talk up the forecasts. go out on a limb and become a forecaster yourself.

then sit back and watch all the wind you need dissapear despite your most colourfull words.

also next time it's forecast for wind. go and buy some small gear. then write about it. see if you can get a reaction from huey.

eg. once you have purchased a nice new 3.5m wave sail. write about it in your blog and say something like. "jee, i can't wait for the saturday forecast to hit. 35knots yippee. and just in time for my new wave sail to arrive."

then sit back. watch, grab some popcorn and wait for the results. this may wreck it for everyone but it will be fun in the process. then as you aren't sailing anymore in the doldrums that murphy and huey have created you'll have loads of time to attend to the blog.

It's kicked off just south on Long Island, where some of us sailed through the winter. Forecast of +30 knots for tomorrow.

you're right. It's an effort, but I will continue it. This morning I added a slew of photographs which should make it more interesting. Perhaps Greenroom will change his opinion. However, we really haven't started our Windsurfing/Kiting season yet here. It's been a rather cold beginning of spring with temps running about 11 degrees below normal. Although there are guys who post on the internet about their prowess as winter or cold weather sportsmen and want you to know they have been out enjoying the high winds in freezing temperatures, I haven't seen anyone yet. About 90% of the wind sport population here, a resort area, doesn't participate in the winter.

Cods has no meaning here. Cod is a fish caught in the North Atlantic highly sought after as foodstuff. Actually, what I didn't like about that thread was the Lesbian "exotic" dancing as I remember. However, it could have been something else but I've forgotten it. Why should I go back to something that didn't interest me? By the way, what does 10 Richards mean?

Thanks for the hint. I went back and edited one on this thread. By the way I'm going to put up a photo of one of the helicopters that lands here at the Airpark. You could try www.falmouthairpark.net to discover why I wasn't impressed with the helicopter aerials.

That's interesting. I never had an opinion of you. Was it my avatar or some other photo that changed your opinion? It does seem like it's easier to put up information regarding any other sport but windsurfing on my blog, too. We're supposed to have another week of cold weather in the Northern States again this week. That will postpone entering the water even more. With air temps running 11 degrees F. below average and salt water temps running 5, this has to be the latest start to the season hereabouts since I started sailing 17 years ago.

Sorry, I don't get involved in the airpark activities. Sometime I'll put up a photo of my hanger which is filled with boards, masts and kites, a snowblower, a sheet metal tig welder, a table saw, work benches and assorted items that have nothing to do with flying. I hate airplanes. However, I do see a need for helicopters, but I wish that the Coast Guard one wouldn't try so often to find out whether or not I am bald.

Certainly, I do hope to put some windsurfing photo's up on the blog, but since starting it, I haven't seen any windsurfers. Futhermore, when the sailing starts, I spend more time rigging and sailing than I do shooting pics. On top of that, in the past few years, most of the windsurfers around here are using kites. So if you are looking for action pics of WSing, try www.antoinealbeau.com/aa192/ Right now, though, I'm complying with Gestalt's definition: a real windsurfing blog actually has nothing to do with windsurfing. it is in fact a very clever way of testing the gods.
You might not want to part my hair or polish my bald spot, but the Coast Guard tries to do it with their big chopper frequently. I have no idea why they want to watch over me so often, too. Whatever, you have prompted me to add a photo of my boards and fins in the >>shed<< to my profile.

Sadly, bad habits can be hard to change.

Mr. Beswift has invited the world to a blog shared by Snowyguy and (from Starboard's forum) WSguy and RobSwift. Back in the USA a fellow named Swiftsailor claims it's his blog. They also share email addresses. Sharing is a wonderful thing.

Although some may believe beswift suffers from identity confusion or suffers from short term memory loss I think he's a very sharing personality.

Yes well if you want a live, regularly updated and authentic windsurfing blog, look no further (well, you should look further but check mine out anywayy) than www.peconicpuffin.com/ On Long Island, New York the windsurfing runs 12 months of the year (in February we did sail on ice a bit, and through ice a bit as well).

The Peconic Puffin (by me, a struggling to be better than marginal windsurfer who sails with much better sailors) may help you pass a little time. Or not.

First of all, I don't usually reply to what I consider insignificant, sick, stalking or stupid remarks. However, I'm certainly working on the blog if I'm not posting here. All the photo's are either mine or those that I've been given permission to own by the photographer.
