baton tensioning

anyone got a "golden rule" for baton tensioning, ive never set mine since buying the sails, (North Voodos) do they need regular attenion or set and forget?

Tension your battens so that all the verticle wrinkles either side of the battens disappear (if there is some a couple of turns will do)

If i store a sail for a long period of time i back them off a bit.

My wave sails are voodoos and like wise i set them when new (2006 models) and have not touched them since.

Sail rig session with Ben Severn at a WWA night, a week or so back re settings, he indicated, just enough to remove the wrinkles along the batten pocket, and that was it. Don’t over tension. This applied for all sails, mostly
