I flew over Manly, Wellington Point today on way to Syd, caught a birds eye view of that speed strip coming out of lota creek. (went directly over the speed strip) I am hearing lots about it! looks awesome! Could see how it is a perfect straight strip coming out of that creek for what looked like over a klm.
hobie if the forcast came true you might have seen a few of us there today once again they got it wrong. still we did get a sail. lota creek doesnt sound real inviting but it's a pretty good speed run at low tide.
Hi Jethrow the image on goggle is at the high Tide so you can not see the banks exposed but you can see the outline and the deep channel.It pretty much runs East-west see lat=-27.466934118, lon=153.204566256 ta vando
