I have spent a fair while up there this season, and found that both caravan parks are good. However, we have had some trouble with the south carvan park and them claiming no vacancies; absolute crap given the park was half empty!!
If u want to save $10 a nite u can camp illegally, but watch out for the ranger. He checks main break and back beach car parks, gets up real early, and will give u a large fine if he catches u. Get a warning first but
