Hey,
was at Crazies from 10:30am to 2:00pm and it was a good surf. Was out with 4.7 and there were of cause no big waves (I have never seen good waves there). However, as usual it was brilliant for juuuummmmmmpppiiinnnnggg. So, that's what I did, alone on the water. Where were all of you, at work or at a secret spot.

if you looked about 1km south of Dutchies you would of seen about 4-5 of us getting sic half mast waves in cross onshore conditions.

Sailed from 10.30 till 3.00 Started out on my 5.0m but snapped a batten after getting cleaned up by a hell set so had to use my 4.5 but was a bit under powered

this place always go's off in W/SW winds with a 3m+ swell the waves always look smaller and mellower from the beach.
But when your out there the waves have more power than Scarborough and Dutchies put together and that's a big call!

if it swings a little more to the SW then it can be perfect sideshore somthing we don't get very often in Perth

Alls welcome just dont cry if you break something

Jesus Gazza! now you've put that post up well never have it to ourselves again like we did this morning. I was humbled by some of those waves.
Gazza Wasn't it 10 km south not 1km ?
Hey Leski how was it after I left? I just checked out the graphs and it looks like it went westerly and dropped off.

are you talking about the ********** reef
on an easterly and 5m swell that can really pump some heavy waves
it wasnt a waste of tax payers money after all

Hi,
so where is your secret or not so secret spot. Drove back from Freo via Dutchies, but saw just one guy out at Leighton (but did not have my glasses on). Looked not too bad.

Hey Leski getting out makes it a bit more exiting.
Dr It's a secret spot because it's a secret Plus there is an evil curse that if you tell you will be turned into a kite boarder

Oh,
I am scared, an evil curse? So better do not tell me. I want nobody to become a kite boarder just because he told me about a spot.
