going up there for the weekend and was wondering wether it was worth pulling a sicky on Fri??? does lano work in a s.e.?? i'll be takin a floaty wave board up..

could be good but sail south passage instead of the main break.
South passage is usually a bit onshore on a SW seabreeze so it is side on a SSE.
In case you've never sailed there, it is straight out in front of the tavern.(so just start from there or even further north , might be a bit gusty on the shore though). anyway it need to be more SSE than ESE obviously.

And if the wind drop there always the island to stop you driftin to india.

i might catch a few waves and then sail round the island and head for india anyway, I haven't had a decent curry in years......
