Whats the name of the fin box system that uses the 2 screws through the board?

Just asking because I have a Kinetic 36" fin that I now know fits a tuttle fin box that I don't need. Does anyone in Perth want it?

could be deep tuttle too right, same as normal tuttle but twice the depth.

both deep and 'shallow' tuttle fins fit in a deep box but obviouslly on the 'shallow' tuttle fins will fit in the standard tuttle box.

please correct me if I am wrong. A 36'' fin is more likely to be deep tuttle?

I think so, I don't know much about this sort of thing. If anyone wants it let me know, I can email them a photo if that helps.

Could be a Tiga conic. Tuttle has parallel side faces. Tiga has tapered side faces and is thicker.

For those sailing down our neck of the woods.

They make a pretty good weedy after careful application of a hacksaw and if it's the model which I'm thinking of the material which they are made from is super tough.

Oh Hawkies no troll Howzit going there, hope you've been getting out a bit

Cheers Elmo, as far as getting out.....hah!!! 3 kids and work has put an end to that!! I've even had to sell off a lot of my gear because its just sitting in the garage. I've only been out twice all summer. The sup has been getting alot of use early in the morning but thats another forum!

Ahh the joys of little tackers, at least the SUP gives you some sanity time.

Any water time is gold, you'll probably already be taking the wee ones out on the board with you which would be pretty cool

Exactly, which is one of the main reasons I got it along with some magic times down south and fun little sessions around the northern metro beaches.
