I've just picked up an F2 277 103l board which has a number of different footstrap positions. The board is currently set with the forward straps set in towards the center of the board and the rear is a double out towards the rail. I sail mainly at peli point or melville and was wondering is it best for a single rear strap in the middle or a double out towards the rails for this style of board at these locations?
Cheers!

You want to keep the atraps as they are for that kind of freeride sailing.

If you are going into wavesailing then you would remove one rear strap and put the other one in the middle to make board more manouverable (i think

For slalom on the river, I'd say keep back straps double and move the fronts out towards the rail.
If you want to do freestyle etc, one back strap and fronts in.
Or just check out the guys doing what you want to do, and follow their lead

akhawk, just used a similar style board at Mandurah today, older F2 98lt with a 6.6 Loft, if you want to blast along, then the crew down there recommended (and I did as they said) moved the fronts to the outside, and two on the back on outside. Worked a treat
I am down there (Lucky Bay) tomorrow, blue trailer, with white top on it. I can show you set up if need be.
Firiebob always recommends, when you want to go fast, get your clodhoppers out on the rail.
You wont be disappointed with its performance, just a great board.
