Hi there maybe someone can help me here, when I download my GPS onto my computer the max speed is down by at least 4-5 knots. For example last week after a session I had max speed of 26.8 knots but this never came up on the tracks and info once on the computer showed max speed of 22.5.I am using sportsim as a down load replay. The weather up here in sunny Townsville has been producing some very good days for the few of us that get out on the water recently

nbr i,m guessing that your GPS is showing a spike in your tracks. Try g7towin to down load your tracks, then check them for spikes using GPS action replay. Click on file ,then trackpoints data table and look for anything over about 4 knots of acceleration. mora help available on www.gps-speedsurfing.com Hope this helps

Nbr, you should be able to use GPS Action Replay to download the track data as well - but you need to make sure that you setup the program correctly to enable the GPS download functionality.

nbr, I have downloaded from here and installed OK.

gpsactionreplay.free.fr/index.php?menu=2

After some reading of instructions, together with the GPS site rules and advice, and numerous beers, got to work OK, and I think I edited some spikes out OK a GPS downloaded file from my Foretrex 101(which I just recorded driving in my car) to get reasonably accurate speeds.
