how do you measure harness line length? do you just measure from one end to the other, or just the length under the boom? And while we're at it, how come all the gurus say you should be able to put your elbow in the loop and your wrist should reach the boom. My lines are 22 or 24 inches (not sure about measuring the inch that goes over the boom), and this equates to about half the length of my forearm. I always have the boom right at the very top of the cut=out too - must just have bloody long legs?!

I don't think it matters how the length is worked out as long as they suite your harness type and sailing stance, I just try to have my boom set at chest hieght,I find that gives me the best control of the rig. One thing I did notice is that 22 inch NP lines are different length than 22 inch Dakine
