Tried many glues and have not found any that work yet. The deck grip has recently peeled off my surfboard (which didnt help given I was out at left-handers on a big day at the time) and irronically some of the grip is now peeling of my JP. Been given a couple of other glues to try, but before I go off and spend more cash, does anyone know of some tried and tested glues that actually work?!

buy some real boards

or

try some uv stable epoxy resin,brush/roll on, thinly sprinkle on some sugar(coarse grip) or salt(fine grip) then wash off sugar/salt.
works for me but can go a bit brownish after a while.
for deck pads try waterproof contact cement from the hardware store(selleys)

yeah ggf is right, i have used it on my 420 dingy for the grip tape there and it works fine. Contact cement is the way to go. Make sure you leave it long enough before you stick it together though, otherwise it doesnt work,

I use 3M waterproof double sided tape, you can buy it in big patchs.
has not failed!

That`s what (some) deck grip companies use.

Hi Borby,
I am fixing up a wave board, and recently put some new kinetic deck pads on my board using Selleys Kwik-Grip Heat & Water resistant contact adhesive - it comes in a small 250 ml can I got from Bunnings for about $12 or thereabouts. You paint it both on the deck and the pads, and leave it 10 or so minutes until both are dry to the touch, and putting the two surfaces together it sticks like the proverbial - in fact you have to be very careful, as it sticks so well if your pads arent aligned right you may not get them off again. What I did was to use masking tape to mask around the edge of where I wanted the pads to go - this had a twofold benefit in that I could paint the kwik-grip right to the edges of the surface of the board where the pad was to go with little or no glue outside of edge of pad, and because the masking tape also gives a perfect alignment shape. My pads look great, and are well stuck down right along the edges. Hope this assists - Big-Gazza.
