sounds great!
could you possibly find out (or give me the contact details for anyone who may know) what the TV Line resolution is (not scan line resolution) for the camera, and whether there is a PAL 720x576 version, and whether the complete unit would be waterproof to about 3 metres?

Hi Haircut.
Just received this back from the manufacturers,
“Unlike other helmet cams, the imaging head is a digital unit and as such is not rated in terms of TV lines, which is an analogue measure of resolution. The imaging unit is matched to the digital recording unit, which records at up to 720 x 480 resolution. Consider this to be comparable to 480 TV lines resolution.”
The unit is 'water resistant to 1 meter for 15 mins' as is the Navi gps, so you have to use protection for most watersports.
