for A change...thinking about giving it a go tomorrow at the back of edwards..tried it once befor in fluky lightish winds on a west and it was ok, any one sailed it like this when the wind/swell is up?

Windy,
I was up there this morning (have just bought a caravan and was giving it a test run)

There is NO way you would have been sailing anywhere behind Eddies or anywhere else for that matter, this morning.

phew! went to Craz Waves instead...i'd imagine the swell would have been a tad on the large side at lano.....

u sure u couldn't have got out, launching from the shallows at the back of edwards,,, that was my thinking anyway

Bloody hell Grumps, I bet that was fun pulling that back home in the gentle Westerly breeze Just driving back up Freeway this morning after a play with board on roof rack was fun in it self.

Minno, a pop up, so it was fine

Windy, I guess if you could have rigged up a hanky it might have been ok, but seriously the angle was all wrong, would have been dangerous as hell.
