hi all im not really full bottle on the fine tuning of windsurfing gear being new to sport come to think of it im not much of a full bottle myself anyway what effect on the board or ride or stance etc does the POSITION of the mast in the track have eg back as far as it can go whats the outcome or fully forward whats the outcome i have moved it around a little but havent come to any major conclusions just that the nose rides out further in a certain position which i cant remember does POSITION in the track change with sail sizes am i talking **** no need to answer the last Q as i already know the answer

It has stuff on mast track position, boom height and footstraps. Just follow the links i hope it helps, i thought it was an interesting read when i first saw it a few weeks ago.

i had the boards site bookmarked but never though of looking there for technique

No probs mate, i found the page to be very interesting myself.
Now uni is over for the summer i find myself searching allover the web for new windsurfing sites with good articles. Boardseeker seems to be an ok read and the videos scattered thoughout the online mag are pretty cool.
