not throwing up much of a wake, and would be a bugger to retrieve a fallen rider.

That chop would be hell on the knees, don't know how they last so long. I'd prefer to chill on the boat with a g&t.

Amazing boat those big racing tri's / cat's, the amount of apparent wind they can generate is phenomenal.

You could also probably wakeboard for life in a twin turbo 454 cube ski boat and not make a dent (fuel cost wise) on the cost price of one of those suckers. Not quite a replacement yet :P

That's boat called the Brossard or something, I read an article in a windsurf mag about it racing Pascal Marka (Ex speed record holder). He said it could do 26 knots in 8 knots of wind and the windward hull passed almost passed over his head.
