hi marcus, velcome to perth,,,,, west and east aren't good wind directions 4 perth..
there is a web page somewhere with all the spots in perth to go, i think it might be on windsurfingwa page.....
get yourself a ubd street directory
for westerlys try:
pinaroo point - ubd 185 d11
flat water sailing, if there is a gigantic swell u can score waves off the little reefs and the harbour wall to the south.
leighton beach from the freeo slsc ubd 305 n15
wavey onshore slop, you'll need to be able to punch through the shorebreak. could be frustrating or funtastico!
crazies ubd 345 p15
you'll see the waves crashing into each other causing craziness on a waist to head hich sandbar that stretches out about 1km out to see. park and launch from south beach car park ref q4... don't use the car park near catherine pt groin its meant to be dodgy. one of the best spots, needs a big swell to work well and is also good on a nw through to sw
woodmans point 365 m13
sail either side of the point, kiters usualy use the south side. only sailed it a couple of times, each time was nuclear overpowered conditions ...
River pt majestic 307 q11, launch near jetty and sail over to pelican point and back... watch out your board will turn brown

theres more south, but never tried them... anyway shouldn't be that many westerlys left, seabreazzzzers start kickin in soon which means u sail anywhere on the coast
