If it's the older model it should, similar questions asked at ezzy.com:

yes, as long as it is the "older" Powerex, not the new re-invented Powerex masts which are just starting to come out.

K3 Battlestick is as good or better than Powerex ( 1 season of use in a pretty poor year).... IMO

Some strange English on the powerex site, but mention Japanese prepreg technology. They wouldn't be made in Japan would they?

Strength, feel and weight are as good (at least as good). Looks and price are better. Not sure what the price in Perth is now but I paid $430 for 430cm late last year... Then again I have no idea what a Powerex costs now but my old one was a fair bit more if I remember rightly???

The old style Powerex and Ezzy are compatible, so in theory it should be fine. I used this principle when I snapped the top of my Ezzy 400, and bought a Powerex 400 as a replacement/backup. While the masts are compatible, the ferrule diameter is not eactly the same; Powerex being slightly larger in my case. So in this instance, if I want to mix and match, I need to tape up the Ezzy male end to make sure it packs tight. Haven't been arsed to do this so far, so am still using the old mix of 370/430...
