Just as i had written off long reef as a wavesailing spot it actually happened today with frontal N/NE (cross/cross off) and some swell - but as usual only 5-10knots on the inside when the sets came through. A bit of dodge-ems with wave starved surfers, surfing lesson takers and kids on body boards. But for all this i got a few good DTL waves. However from now on my NE seabreeze destination will be Cronulla more so now that 5.3 got trashed and i only have a 5.0. Great to see all the boys as well.
