Hello,
I am considering purchasing 7.2m and 5.8m rs6 sails and wonder if anyone has any feedback on using rs6 sails with x6 masts. I currently have x6 460 and x6 430 that i use with 2006 v8 sails. I would like to know how the cams rolate and general use. Any feedback would be appreciated.

G'day Carl,
I've got a 6.2 RS4 which I use with a X6 mast and it sets beautifully and handles nicely.
Even with it handling the way it does I have been told the X9 dmakes it work even better as that is what it was designed around.
I don't think you'll be disappionted the RS4 is sweet and from what I've seen of the RS6 it's a wicked looking piece of work.
That RS Slalom looks interesting to.
Ahh so many toys, so little finances.

will work, not the most recommended system but with the X9 ultra's hard to come by at the moment,(i can't find one). its not such a bad option, but if i were you i'd wait for the RS:S which is also a bit cheaper and designed for the X6

carl, wait 2 weeks. the australian pryde dealer conference is on then, after that if your local pryde dealer was there and he was paying attention you should be well informed. ...or re-ask the question here after the 20th.

I loaned my RS6 6.2 to a customer over the weekend to try with his X6 and the feedback was good. You have to remove the spacers from the sail and then everything works fine.
He got some good speed on the GPS considering how choppy the water was over the weekend.
