does anyone know of a suitable sacrifice to make huey happy again? we haven't seen more than a sparrow's fart down here in hobart for ages, and the forecast is crap for some days to come. what about a young virgin goat? my smallest sail? there must be some foolproof hoodoo magic out there that works?

best sacrifice is cash...

if you want wind, then buy something big... (formula)

if you want light winds then buy something small.... (speed/wave)

Best sacrifice is burning. Burn children, small furry animals or virgins all very acceptable by huey.

I've just given the young fella a "smiley" with the bic ciggy lighter on his #rse, after charing the dog's tail good and black and crispy. (Living in Bunbury a virgin is very hard to find... will 2 outa 3 be good enough?)

How's that forecast looking now???!!!!!

WHAT"S GOING ON?????????
we were cleaning up debris from a bloody tornado this time last year

The only thing that's proved to work is disposing of all your windsurfing kit - burning it works best. We need a volunteer, either to burn his gear or to throw a molotov cocktail at Padi's car.[}:)]
Alternatively some selfless altruist could paddle out into the open ocean and pretend to get into trouble drownin while we call the Westfield helicopter and we could all be sittin ready to sail the rotor wash. It should be someone heavy and slippery and difficult to lift. hmmm.... selfless, fat, slippery... nope no one I know fills the bill.

hey, not padi's car...it's full of chocolate and beer. way too valuable.

maybe mk's rx7. then he can claim insurance and pay off his new quiver. win win situation. and after all. he bought all the new gear that has meant no wind. oh and vando. but vando can gybe so we have much to learn from him.

No no no. You can't have a win win situation for a sacrifice. Someone has to suffer. What about giving up your first born child Gestalt? Just so it wouldn't be a total loss you could sell her for body parts. OR here's a thought - We could get volunteer to drive over Sophie Delizio again. That'd get Hueys attention. He has to be old, the older the better. His quality of life is gonna go right downhill after that.

I had a big feed of Mexican on the weekend and that "burnt" my ring, and made me "suffer".

unfortunately, it didnt help.

After reading this thread, and looking at how the forecasts totally don't meet up with what actually happens, I've come to the conclusion that Huey is an attention starved perverse tw@t.

See, we only give him attention when there's no wind. The more attention we give him, the more he wants. So the solution is to either not give him attention when there's no wind, or thank him profusely after a good session. Seeing as how good sessions are so hard to come by these days, it only leaves us with the first option... so let me be the first to say:

Huey's a TOSSER, clapclap clap CLAP clap!

(But some wind in the next month would be really really nice)

Started my day out waking up thinking ....its on fronts wind great.....by midday it was as still as all hell, work rang....Overtime, accepted.....half hour later its blowing its brains out.
If there is no wind tomorrow i will sacrifice my neighbour in a bizarre ritual involving hamsters.

Parting with my RX-7 for something where you sit around half the time waiting for the wind is a sacrifice

can't give up my first born notwal, she's far to cute. plus she is into the windsurfing thing. another couple of years and she'll get her first lessons. (from dad of course)

if it is blood that is required. there are some water bogans up this way that we could corner in the car park...
