Hi all, im desperate to get away for a weekends sailing. Somewhere thats 2-3 hours drive max. Looking for a flat water becuase im learning jibes. Im going to take the camper van and mountain bikes, beer, guitar,beer and not much else maybe a little food. Can anyone suggest a spot?

Easy answer..

North = Hawks Nest or Wallis lake

South = Jervis bay

On a bad commuting day, Narrabeen is about 2-3 hours drive from CBD.

Wallis Lake is beautiful. Not very windy but good light wind sailing.
Stay at the caravan park at Tiona Park. Lake one side, ocean the other, rainforest in between. Paradise.
