Hi Tony

That will be a terrific week! Enjoy and good luck with your students on your week....Sandy Point will go off if you and Azza are there!...

For those who don't know Tony, he lives at Bendigo and teaches at Inverlock and the lakes around there....when he's not driving to Melbourne to teach there....(he loves a drive!)

You'll have fun...so enjoy!

Rgds

Hi Warren
Russell here one of your happy Winda Woppa clients, the best fun/learning experience I had mate. And the foods the greatest.
Just to remind you who I am, I was the musician who was into vintage cars....goggomobils,Morris minors, and on that weekend I drove a silver hotted up 1960s Sunbeam Rapier rally car, hence the rustbucket tag...lol.And I was the guy who wouldnt get off the longboards!!!!!!!
but I should have....my fault.

Anyone who wants a fun weekend try out Warrens Sailboard Safari,I still wear that safari T shirt, gotta get myself a new one eh.
Have taken a break from sailing due to health reasons,Those wallyboards are too heavy to carry[with my health issues] and I bought a Mistral Screamer but is too much of a switch[although light weight]did use the screamers rig on the longboards though[good range of sails]made a difference and yes I still love longboards, but then again I ve tried nothing else other than my Screamer,if I could get myself a lightweight longboard Ill be back...................thinking an F2 Phoenix 320,etc,anyone got one?
Good to see you here mate,I am one happy customer, and can recomend a Salboards safari weekend.
Copies of this speach can be obtained from the foyer.

Hey rustbucket

I have access to a board like that but there are heaps better,
come to sandy point and try them out.

winda woppas are fun but Fiji is great.

I'm certainly planning to go back plus would love to organise a bus load from Vic. to go to a winda woppa weekend if enough were interested.

Hi Tony
Yea sounds like your gonna have a good week and youve got Warrens stamp of approval...lol..well thats enough for me.
Id love to try out a F2 Phoenix 320 or maybe a Mistral Super Vision 191 cb,or even better buy one,got any for sale...lol.
I must say the lure of a local to me Winda woopa weekend is attractive, maybe AND Besides I could get that SAILBOARD SAFARI LEGENDS T shirt i need to replace that well worn but loved original...lol
Have a good one,i figure all those who attend will.
cheers Rusty

Talk about legends.
I should get a legend T for putting up with those bloody kiwis at lake clearwater while they got crapped on in the americas cup.

ask warren about that place.

hook a ride to sandy point in warrens luxury van, it's about the only place your screamer will live up to it's name.

Warren,
say hello to ian, thinking of sailers who like wally boards.

RUSSELL....

Great to hear from you...Glad your still alive and more importantly...your still driving those old fantastic cars! We did have a great Winda Woppa Windsurfing Weekend..didn't we!

We are now in our 20th year of running these trips and they are still rocking along...with 6 weeks there this season...2 Weeks before xmas, 2 weeks now and again 25th Feb - 5th March. If you want that new Safari Legend T-Shirt you'll have to come back up!

We've got some terrific 2005 model boards, in the JP Range, Mistral, Naish and other leading brands. Our sails still consist of 2005 Neil Pryde rigs, so we can certainly find you a nice lightweight board to get you back out there...Leave the longboard at home, bring your screamer and rig and you can plug it into any of our boards you like! Then you can have a real treat and use our gear..tuned to perfection and guaranteed to GYBE ~!!!

When Tony joined us at Safari Lodges - Lake Clearwater, New Zealand, we had some terrific Windsurfing....however Tony is right...the Kiwis had just lost the Americas cup and they were a little bitter....what fun we had!

Looking forward to seeing you soon rusty...Enjoy Sandy Point Tony..

there is something strangly satisfying about stirring kiwis.

the old guy Fred still sticks in my mind, mast high jumps on a lake in 48kts on really crappy old gear.
