sea snakes in the Peel Inlet

someone crabbing in the Peel Inlet claimed on radio today that they came across 2 sea snakes in the inlet. these are highly venomous..another reason to wear booties...as if the crabs and cobblers weren't enough :-))

theyre only venomous if they bite you! and I believe their fangs are at the back of their mouth so you just have to keep your fingers and toes out of the way.

common learn from george W and do a pre emptive strike. bite them b4 they bite you. you mouth is atleast twice as big as there's, just don't slip them the tongue or you'll be in all sorts of s#%t.

The only snakes I've seen are the ones at my local pointbreak.
They're usually upwind and heading out towards me, then they quick jibe onto the face and attempt to make the claim.

We get heaps of them in North Qld at different times of the year. As bluejuice said, they have trouble getting their fangs into you. Biggest problem is hitting them with your fin, and going arse up, not nice swimming with an angry snake.

Snakes, Coblers, Crabs, Sharks etc

They are all just a minor ripples in the cess pool of life in this Beautiful paradise we call Mandurah

The nastiest and most obnoxious beastie we get here is the
