There was a debate lately about knowing who was practicing both windsurf and kite, the new question is, who surfes/windsurfes and who surfes/kitesurfes? I've always considered windsurf closer to surf (more soul, closer to the ocean spirit; if that makes any sense) than the kite is... What do you think?

Certainly not the case with the locals here, (those that are in the waves anyway) there's about the same proportions of kiters that surf to windsurfers who surf.
