Extend your front hand, with your palm facing towards chest, at about chest height, with all fingers closed into a fist with your thumb and little finger extended, and wobble side to side.

you're meant to go upwind. you have to lay the sail down into the shoveit then sort of go for a tack in mid air by raking the sail back then backwind the sail into the 360.

I have no idea... but agree with Al. On videos it appears that the sail is raked back so much that the bottom batten pretty much spears into the upper thigh / groin of your back leg.
www.simonhurrey.com has lots freestyle instructional may be on there?

Hey Mate! Shakas are cool! You've got to learn to Shove it first! Once you've got that down then to shaka you start like a shove it but when you get to the point where you would normally shove (push back hand) just stay over the sail keeping it trimmed for backwinded sailing (back arm bent front arm straight). Try to land slightly nose first backwinded then just complete like an upwind 360! Tricky bits are learning to shove it and then keeping your weight over the sail so you don't get thrown backwards when backwinded. Good luck!
